My Job Preference

After researching the existence positions, I have found out that the most suitable work for me is the children’s camp specialist. In my opinion, this job is the best opportunity for those who want to help children to become a child a full member of the society they live. I think it is a great chance to make a difference, because it is better to teach a child how to prevent some situations instead of dealing with their consequences. I realize that some other professions like forensic interviewer specialist or children’s protective services specialist have to deal with more serious issues than children’s camp specialist have to cope with. Nevertheless, my point is that the majority of problems that children face and what they have in the adulthood are connected with limited attention and care that they received. People care little about the children’ wellbeing till something bad happens. Hence, I want to teach children how to overcome possible difficulties on their own in order to prevent some challenging situations in the future. The less suitable work for me is the pregnancy center specialist position. This kind of work has the extremely high salary and can be a crucial motivator for many specialists who want to work in this field. Nevertheless, I want to work with children who have already grown enough to learn something new and can understand information that I want bring to them. Working with pregnant women does not let me work directly with children and limits my opportunities to influence on the children’s behavior and future development.
